The Convention on the Rights of the Child is the most widely ratified treaty in human history. Despite the good will of the signatory nations the sad truth is that the basic rights of children are still not universally recognized and children suffer violence, abuse, exploitation and discrimination in increasing numbers every day.

To this end, our Office focuses its activities on four broad areas: 1) research, 2) education, 3) consultation, and 4) Advocacy.

HFC “Hope For Children” Office for Children’s Rights’ services are structured into three departments, each charged with particular roles and responsibilities:

  • Advocacy/Policy and Project services
  • Research and Publication services
  • Family Counseling center
