Mr.Nicos Severis, A Senior Advisory Board Member Passed Away

14.10.11 - Mr.Nicos Severis, A Senior Advisory Board member of “Hope For Children” UNCRC Policy Center,founder of Severis & Athienitis Financial Services and until recently member of the Board of Directors of StockWatch, has passed away today . 
Mr. Severis was born in 1943 and studied Economics at the University of Cambridge. 
He was a major figure in the economic and social activities of Cyprus and overseas. He was also President of Red Cross society Cyprus- Nicosia Branch

The NLAC is dedicated to providing high quality legal representation for children through lawyers.  Aim of this unit is to improve the lives of children and families through legal advocacy.

Young Ambassador

HFC IVI picture 2With the initiative of the organization Hope for Children – UNCRC Policy Center, at a ceremony which took place at the Hotel Rodon in Agros village, the young Cypriot singer Ivi Adamou was appointed as Young Ambassador for the Rights of the Child.  

UNCRC Summer Academy for Children

The Institution HFC "Hope For Children" UNCRC Policy Center, is pleased announces the opening of the Summer academy for Children "We have rights". Children who attend the Academy will learn what are Human Rights and more specifically the Rights of the Child. Activities will be conducted with the help of psychologists and educational tool based on «Compassito» (http://www.eycb.coe.int/compasito/), which was formed by the Council of Europe to teach the children Human Rights through non formal education.

Ceremony for the appointment of Goodwill Ambassador Mr Giorgos Theofanous

The organisation Hope for Children invites you at the ceremony for the appointment of Mr. Giorgos Theofanous, as the Goodwill Ambassador for the ‘One in Five’ campaign of the Council of Europe to stop sexual abuse against children, which is organized with the cooperation of the European Public Space.
