"Hope for Children" UNCRC Policy Center with Cooperation of Council of Europe is Organizing National Training Course on Human Rights Education. 

The training will aim at developing participants’ knowledge and understanding of Human Rights and Human Rights Education. Participants’ competences in using non formal education methodologies for the promotion of human rights will be developed. The course will also strive to associate young participants with the Council of Europe Directorate of Youth and Sport priorities and programme of activities in human rights education, and as well will feature the Council of Europe Charter on Democratic Citizenship and Human Rights Education as an effective tool for advocacy actions for human rights education. Participants will be 35 youth workers , trainers and multipliers involved with human rights education selected on basis of an open call. As a result of the course, the organizers plan to support participants’ initiatives in human rights education and to organise a follow-up meeting in three months after the end of the course to further support follow-up and networking.Ms Ruxandra Pandea the educational advisor at DG II – DEMOCRACY Directorate of Democratic Citizenship and Participation, Department of Youth - European Youth Centre Budapest will also be present.
