Open Call for Position in Traineeships Program at HFC-UNCRC Policy Center
Traineeships run for a period of six months, full-time, and voluntary (unpaid). All costs associated with the traineeship (e.g. accommodation and living expenses) are to be covered by the trainees.
Main Tasks
- Responsible for the Network for Children’s Rights
- Assistant Fundraising Officer
- Responsible for tasks allocated by project coordinator regarding projects and research
- Monitoring youth policies and strategies with specific focus on Cyprus and the EU regional level
Qualifications
- Masters Degree in Human or Social Sciences, preferably in anthropology, sociology, psychology, global politics, international relations, political science, development studies or any other such related courses. Degrees in organizational management, development or leadership will also be considered.
- Language fluency in Greek and in English.
Important Information
Trainees will have the opportunity to apply for positions at HFC-UNCRCPC after completion of the six-month traineeship program. Throughout the program, they will receive training and experience on coordinating and implementing projects, fundraising and management of youth organizations. Moreover, they will be provided with a time and space through which they could widen and deepen their knowledge on youth policy on a national, regional and international level. Trainees will be awarded with a certificate of completion of the Traineeship Program at the end of the traineeship period and, with an officially certified reference letter.
Open Call for Position in Internship Program at HFC-UNCRC Policy Center
Internships run for a period of three or six months and on a part-time or full-time basis – depending on the intern. Internships are voluntary (unpaid). All other costs associated with the internship (e.g. accommodation and living expenses) are to be covered by the interns.
Main Tasks
- Responsible for HFC-UNCRCPC Volunteer Network
- Assistant Communications Officer
- Provides assistance to Fundraising Officer and Assistant Fundraising Officer
- Provides administrative assistance for organizational and operational management of the organization
- Provides assistance in project writing and project implementation
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Human or Social Sciences or related discipline.
- Language fluency in Greek and in English.
Important Information
Interns will have the opportunity to apply for the Traineeship Program at HFC-OCR after completion of the internship program. Throughout the program, interns will receive training and experience in an NGO and specifically in youth organizations.
