Christiana Charalambous works at “Hope for Children” CRC Policy Center as a Support Officer at the shelter of unaccompanied children, in Nicosia. She holds a Bachelor degree in Occupational Therapy and she currently studies a Master degree in Mental Health for Children and Adolescences at the European University of Cyprus.
During her studies she had the opportunity to attend practical exercise at the Athalassa’s Hospital between October and December 2020 and also at Larnaca’s Shelter for unaccompanied minors of the organization “Hope For Children”, between February and June 2021.
On September of 2021, after she received her BCS Degree, she started working as a Support Officer at the organization. She is responsible for the daily care of the minors, and based on her background as an Occupation Therapist, her main purpose is to assist them to become independent on their daily life activities, for example personal health care.
