José Noronha Rodrigues, Ph.D. in Law "CUM LAUDE" from the University of the Azores (Portugal), recognized as the equivalent of the degree of Doctor of Law, by the Faculty of Law of Lisbon University.  

He holds an M.Sc. in International Relations (2004), a DEA in European Law (2008), a B.Sc. in Law and Post Graduations in Labour Law (2003) and Regional Law (1998). He is currently an Assistant Professor and Director of the Centre of Law and Economics Studies at the University of the Azores, researcher and coordinator of Law courses of the Department of Economics and Business at the same University. He is a member of the editorial board of several International law journals, and active member of many law study centre.
