Hope For Children organised a five-day study visit to the Children's House and the Courts in Croatia

"It is our priority to support and systematically develop multidisciplinary collaboration, specialization, and child-friendly justice, so that children who have experienced any form of sexual violence can receive appropriate support and protection". With this goal in mind, a five-day study visit to the Children's House and the Courts in Croatia was completed today, organized by Hope For Children.

The following professionals participated in the visit: Elena Efraim, President of the District Court, Mikaella Pasiardi, Prosecutor of the Republic A', Thelma Leontiou, Coordinator, Social Welfare Services, Maria Kountouri, member of the special investigative team, Police Headquarters, Natasa Papamarkou, clinical psychologist, and Sophia Rossou, social worker, from Hope For Children at the Children's House.

Warm thanks to the staff of the Zagreb Child and Youth Protection Center for their hospitality, and to Lana Petö Kujundžić, Judge, President of Department for Juveniles, County Court of Zagreb, President of Association for Juvenile And family judges and Experts for Children in Croatia

The visit was organized within the framework of the European program PROMISE III, in which Hope For Children participates as a partner.
